Coming2Israel.com - The Beaches Of Israel

Perhaps, after Jerusalem, the first thing that comes to people's minds when they think of Israel, are the beaches - hot, sandy, sun-kissed beaches on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.  And, of course, Tel Aviv emerges as the king of the Israeli Beach cities. But, with a coastline stretch of 273 km (170 mi), Tel Aviv makes up a small portion of beach-front property in Israel.  There are more beaches to consider!  And there are beaches to consider for just about all walks and persuasions in life. Sure, the sun setting over the Mediterranean Sea is something to behold, and if you are looking for an after beach party, Tel Aviv is probably the place to be, but the same sun still sets over of all of the beaches available to the visitor to Israel. We'll break it down for you… You have the beaches on the coast.  There are the beaches on the Sea of Galilee (Kinneret).  The beaches on The Dead Sea - catch some rays in the lowest place on earth! And the beaches in the far south of Israel, on The Red Sea, in her resort/port city of Eilat. Our list will try and stick to free or pay for public beaches. So here we go… grab a towel, some sun screen and lets head to the beach! Beaches Of the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee). Beaches On The Coast of Israel, The Mediterranean Sea. North - Rosh HaNikra and Nahariya down south to Caesarea. Center - Netanya to Bat Yam. South - Ashdod and Ashkelon. Beaches Of The Dead Sea. Beaches Of Eilat.
