About Us.
Who We Are and What We’re Not.
•
We are a small business made up of a group of people that live in Israel
and love our country of Israel. Sure, she’s not perfect and she has her
problems. But really, what great love doesn’t?
•
Some of us were born here. Some of us moved here (made Aliyah).
•
Regardless of where we are from, as we already mentioned, we love this
country and we love sharing it with as many people as we can. And we
love it more when we get the feedback from you telling us what a
wonderful time you had here in Israel.
•
We are not affiliated with anyone or any corporation or any government
agency. The creation and running of this website is a completely private
enterprise. We are not connected to anyone in any government or any
corporation. Some companies pay us to list their information on this site,
but other than providing our listing services to them, we owe them no
other allegiance. We do this on our own because, all politics aside, and
we mean all politics aside, we feel that Israel is a great place to visit and
we simply wish that it be as pleasurable and productive as possible for
the English speakers coming here.
•
We are not a site to learn to speak Hebrew. There are plenty of other
places to do that. We will teach a few words and phrases along the way,
but by no means do we promise you an fluency. Sorry. But, we have
listed some resources in our other information section.
•
We are not (not yet, anyway) an all encompassing site. We do not have all
the information of all the places and companies that you could visit in
Israel. We are trying, but things are always changing. You can help us. If
you have some information that could benefit other English speaking
travelers coming to Israel, please send as an email to let us know. If you
do, we would be very appreciative.
•
We are not the last word in travel regulations regarding coming to Israel.
If you need a visa to come to Israel, you need to know that on your own.
If you are bringing questionable goods and products to Israel, you need to
check with the proper authorities. Etc. Our information is not official.
Always check with your embassy/consulate for travel advisories and such.
Also, your travel agent would be a good resource to assist you as well.
And of course there are official government websites to check for any
information that you would need to know before coming to Israel.
•
We really do want you to enjoy your time in Israel. So, please do!
