  Of course, we would love you to consider our web site as your sole source for English language information about Israel and coming to Israel.  However, Israel, as small a country as she is, has a lot going on.  We try and are trying to update and maintain our site as best we can, but there are things that we may miss - yes, it can happen - or things and items of interest that go beyond the scope of our website.  With this in mind, we offer you a list of other resources that you can use in your research and, hopefully, enlightenment about our great little country as well as allowing you to keep up to date and aware of as much as possible while you are visiting.

English Newspapers In Israel:

There are currently two major English language newspapers published in Israel: 1)  The Jerusalem Post Newspaper 2)  Ha’aretz Newspaper Both are daily tabloids and print their weekend editions on Fridays during the week.  In respect to the sabbath, there are no newspapers published on Saturday.  The Friday editions also include a TV / entertainment guide magazine as well. The post also publishes a bi-weekly magazine called The Jerusalem Report, which offers more in depth coverage and interviews regarding issues pertaining to Israel and the entire Middle East.  Ha’aretz also publishes The Marker, which is a supplement to the paper and magazine regarding business and economic issues in and affecting Israel. Articles in The Post are mostly locally written with some articles from syndication also included - including sourced material from The Wall Street Journal.  Ha’aretz shares a number of articles from the International New York times and will often include an entire section of articles from The Times. Eretz Magazine

One of our absolute favorite magazines is a magazine simply called Eretz. it is published 6 times a year. Articles range from history, archeology to current events and places and people to know about within Israel. Eretz also publishes some beautiful books and some of the the best guide books on Israel.

TimeOut Magazine.

Yes, it could be said that TimeOut is one of our direct competitors.  But we would be remiss in our mission to provide you, the English speaker coming to Israel, with the resources you need to make the best of your visit to Israel, if we did not, at least mention, that this magazine is a good resource for you and is usually available FREE in hotel lobbies or from their concierge desks.

Yes, we know, another competitor.  Still, also a good source for printed material of whats happening in Tel Aviv.  Also available FREE in hotel lobbies or from their concierge desks.  Also, articles are printed in English, French and Russian.
